Swimwear...

I've been meaning to do a swimwear shoot for ages, and living by the coast how hard can it be!???? Well as it turns out, blooming hard! It was just one of those things that being able to get diaries to mesh with the models has been an absolute and on going nightmare.

Fortunately I had a great shoot the other day with Rowena, and after spending some time shooting her at the gym, she fortunately wanted to do a little swimwear shoot. Now as it's the middle of winter we decided that going to the beach was probably not the best idea, shivering and goosebumps not being a great look, so it was indoors and backdrop time....

We shot 3 different swimsuits, the black one featured above, a colourful flowery one and a white one.

As you can probably tell, I used yellow gels to give the shots a slight golden hue, so whilst shot indoors it at least has the feel of being shot in glorious sunshine.

For a change and by way of contrast, the white set was shot using a blue gel, this created a slightly cooler feel to the image.

Now as you all know me by now, despite the fact that the swimsuits were to be the 'stars of the show' could I resist shooting portraits....could I heck!!!!

And of course my famous 'shot from above' would never feature in this set....

And to end with, the reason I wanted to shoot the white set with blue gels, it creates a stunning look in monochrome...
