Tigers

At Howletts zoo park in Kent, the other day, some of the Tigers were playing ball so to speak and in such good positions that it would have been wrong not to get some photos.....

All of these shots are of the Amur Tigers, the largest of the tiger species, formerly known as Siberian Tiger their name has changed to the more geographically accurate Amur.

Their coat is a pale orange, as opposed to the richer and deeper hues of the more tropical species such as Sumatran or Bengal....

These large cats can jump, climb and swim, but as they're cats they can also nap with the best of them.......
