Maddie in Motorhead minidress

As part of our shoot the other day, as we experimented with different styles one of my new favourite styles is the 'rock-chic' style. Maddie had bought with her a fantastic Motorhead logo minidress, and this was the perfect outfit to shoot this style in.

We started off with coloured lights...

Then we added smoke to increase the effect...

Because Maddie had such lovely hair I managed to get a shot that utilised that...

When you're building up a portfolio it is important to explore as many different styles as possible; so in this case we went right away from colours and dark, so we ended with some strongly back-lit high-key images......and I think they worked beautifully......
