Baby Black Lemur

The pair of Black lemurs at Drusillas park (Clem and Lotfi) have again had a baby this year.

I was fortunate enough to get some nice shots of it recently.

In the first couple of days Clem' kept the baby rather well hidden

Of course being a baby is tiring work......

As it is now 4 weeks old the age old struggle of mum wanting to keep the baby secure, and baby wanting to explore begins.....

Fortunately this does allow me to get a couple of nice portrait shots....
