Great debut shoot

Every once in a while you meet someone who has a certain style or look and think they'd be perfect for some shots I have planned.

It is quite rewarding to then find that person is not only willing to do the shoot it is absolutely brilliant when they kill it and look as great in the shots as you thought they would do.

This happened the other day when I saw Sadie waiting outside the shop and thought she looked so striking that I just had to see if she would be interested in a shoot. Once we had several discussions and exchanges of ideas we agreed a time for the shoot.

On the day she arrived bang on time, we had a little chat about how she wanted the shoot to go and we then started to progress through our ideas; she dove in, the great advantage of our previous discussions was that even though I didn't have a portfolio or shooting styles list to work from I knew what style and look she wanted to create and how she saw herself, we ended up with some stunning images.

Despite the fact that she has the most amazing hair colour and tattoos it soon became clear that she really enjoys black and white photography, as I do as well we got some great portraits...

looking right at you!

Just to show though she does take a stunning colour portrait too.....

We then did some open shirt shots, we were very careful to make sure that they didn't become indiscreet and with alterations in lighting and posing we created what I like to think are a collection of not only sexy but also rather iconic images.

We finished with some great open jacket and attitude shots.

This is only a small selection of the 100s of photos we got that day, every single shot deserves a blog of its own, it was such a terrific experience to meet someone who not only has a great artistic imagination that is willing to help create images such as these, but the confidence and look to pull them off without appearing awkward or uncomfortable in front of the camera.
