Cross country boot camp

Had the oppurtunity to photograph with MB fitness and ATP yesterday at Ashburnham place to promote their new venture of cross-country bootcamps. This consists of a cross country run interspersed with various obstacles and activities.

The main obstacle on the day was really the weather, heavy rain and overcast skies meant that the ISO had to be whacked right up to capture the action and also the terrain became even more slippery and boggy.

Throughout the who course each team had to carry a tyre, now after a while of slipping and sliding this started to become a real drag.....

Obviously when photographing this sort of event using the flash is not recommended but at one point the participants had to run through some Yew trees and in that situation it worked very well.

The day ended with a inter-team tug-of-war, which was really good fun.

There was then a warm down and a team photo.......all I can say is that other than being a really great day there are without doubt very few nicer places to hold this sort of event.
