Marwell zoo 3...birds
Another great feature of Marwell zoo in Hampshire is the collection of birds, including some I've never heard of...which is strange!

In the tropical house there were several species (apparently! we didn't have much luck), got a couple of nice shots.

In one of the earlier enclosures they had a White faced owl, which spent it's entire time in the top of the enclosure, against the light whilst being in the dark...not an easy shot!

The nicest enclosure was a walk-through which featured several species, including waders, herons, Ibis and whistling thrush...a good place to finish.

A great visit, can't wait to return.
