As it was a really nice bright day decided to head up to Galley hill, Bexhill and have another attempt at getting some gull photographs. There are 4-5 different species of gull that frequent the area, but unfortunately only two were present.

I got some nice shots of the gulls perched.

Black headed gull (in winter plumage)

Herring gull pair on cliff top

young Herring gull

Young Herring gull

And then I turned my attention to getting some flight shots....not always easy but I do love a challenge...

It's always fun to try these challenging shots, and there are still some more species of gull for me to have a go at, so I'll certainly be having several more attempts at these.
