Walking with Lemurs at Howletts
As I spend a lot of my time with our Lemurs when I visit any other collection that has a walk-though Lemur exhibit I have to spend some time in there.....it would be wrong not to.....
The walking with Lemurs at Howletts is very interesting, most notably from my point of view by housing 3 species of lemur that are different to the two we have in ours.
Of the 3 the largest, most easily seen but unfortunately not posing well enough for me to get a shot better than I've taken before were the Black and white ruffed, these are the saddleback variety.
The other 2 species however I did manage to get, these were the Red-bellied, which are a lovely species.
The other species is a wonderful little lemur, the Crowned. This is a species I've not seen before and posed really well. A great exhibit and I think somewhere I may be spending a lot more time in sometime in the future.....
